HERMIT TRAIL DAY HIKE:

The Hermit trail is the place to go in Grand Canyon to get away from the crowds. This lesser known trail provides beautiful views around every bend. . Two and a half miles down the trail there is a pleasant treat in store for hikers. A beautiful spring that provides a great place to relax and enjoy a cool lunch.

After lunch, we will start the hike out. Remember that the hike out usually takes twice as long. BE PREPARED!! If you plan this trip in the summer months, come ready to experience the Arizona heat. Temperatures average close to the 100 degree mark. You should dress appropriately with a hat and long sleeves. Your guide will carry extra water and snacks to help you get you out of the canyon.

The Hermit trail is loaded with history, has incredible sweeping views of the canyon and ends up at a beautiful spring. This is a great hike to experience all that the Grand Canyon as to offer. Take the day to hike with us, and leave the crowds behind. You'll never forget the Hermit trail

Itinerary:

Pickup at your hotel in Flagstaff, Williams or Tusayan 8-9 am
Informative, 1 hour drive to the park
We'll enter the park, and gear-up for the hike
Hike 1 to 2.5 hours/ lunch trailside
Hike 2 to 3.5 hours/ exit canyon
Return to hotel 6-7 pm

Restrictions & Policies:

Minimum of two people required to book a Day Hike A single person may join an existing group. Call for trip openings.
Payment due in full at departure of trip. If bookings are made ahead of time 50% is collected ahead of time, and 50% before departure. Deposits are non refundable, unless cancellation is made 7 days prior. If you wish to reschedule your trip to another date a rescheduling fee may apply. You may apply your deposit toward a different trip within 12 months from the date of cancellation. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead of trip departing will receive NO refunds or credit. Around the Bend Adventures L.L.C. reserves the right to cancel trips for emergency reasons. In this case your money would be returned to you in full. Itinerary changes are rare but may occasionally occur and we will do our best to accommodate you in these cases.
